Seattle now has lost 3 straight after falling to the Cowboys on Sunday. In an ugly game for the Seahawks, they turned the ball over 3 times, committed 10 penalties, and gave up 442 yards on defense. After throwing for over 300 yards last week, newly re-appointed starter Tarvaris Jackson threw three INTs. The surprising standout player was Marshawn Lynch who had his best game of the year with 135 yards to go along with the only TD of the day.
The Seattle defense couldn’t do much to stop the Cowboys. They were able to stop two early red zone trips and force short field goals, but eventually allowed Romo to connect with Witten and Robinson for two scores. Despite losing Miles Austin early, the passing game had success against this secondary. Demarco Murray had another big game for the Boys as he rushed for 139 yards and added another 47 in the air.
Seattle’s offense never really put up much fight, only adding a score late with the game already out of hand in the 4th quarter. Upcoming next is a fierce matchup with the AFC North leading Ravens. Baltimore is 6-2 and coming off a big win over the Steelers. The Ravens have been caught playing down to opponents this year with losses to Tennessee and Jacksonville. They also had to come from down 21 points to beat the Cardinals, so maybe Seattle can take advantage of a Steelers hangover.
